Our Story

Since first writing HTML code in 1997, we have constantly improved our online marketing skills. In the same year, that we first wrote HTML, we also graduated with an honours degree in Technology Marketing. Since then, we have constantly learned and unlearned and learned again. This is because what would get you to the top of Google in 2001, isn’t the same as what works best in 2021.

SEO or Search Engine Optimisation is at the heart of what we do. Google is the main search engine used in the UK and regularly introduces new algorithms to their search engine.

We’ve had many successes with our own previous businesses, attracting enquiries via the website, from companies as diverse as a music festival event, to a BBC production company.

Of course, we’ve also had a few failures over the last 20 + years, but this is why we are experienced and use this knowledge to improve our offering to our clients.

Engineering marketing video production, and engineering product photography, is a passion going back many years.

Starting in 2004, we gained experience in filming corporate interviews, music concerts, and even druid ‘handfasting’ ceremonies, on the Welsh Brecon Beacons.

Our genius, is for in-house creative out of the box thinking, and this is liberally applied to our film and video production work.

SEO or Search Engine Optimisation is how you are found on search engines such as Google. There are right ways, and wrong ways to go about optimising your website. Getting it wrong, is known as ‘black hat techniques’. Using such techniques, can get your website penalised, or even banned by Google.

Fortunately we have been working in SEO for a long time, and are constantly adapting our strategy, as new algorithm changes are rolled out.

We absolutely love product photography

Pink dog in a volcano anybody. Seriously though, we like to mix it up a bit. You want something different then pick us. Past photographs for selling walkie talkies, included been hung from a line in socks, and put in a fruit bowl.

Sounds a bit crazy, but it will get your product noticed.

Good Content is King

In the early days of web marketing, it was the fashion amongst some internet marketers, to ‘keyword stuff’. Often they would put extra words, in the same colour as the page background, so they couldn’t be seen. Google got wise to this technique, and it is now considered ‘ black hat’.

Part of the overall SEO strategy, is writing good content for your website.

What we mean by good content, is what Google is looking for. Google wants content that is helpful, educational and useful for its users.

For example, you may be an expert in laser cutting, so you should write content explaining interesting and useful information about the subject.

This will not only be interesting to your potential customers, but also help as part of your SEO strategy. Remember SEO strategy has the aim of getting found on search engines. Ideally we aim for a page one listing, as most people don’t search much further than the first few listings on page one.

Tell your story & showcase your product using video

Another way to get noticed online is video. A video is an important tool in your online marketing strategy. As with written content, it’s best to create entertaining and informative content. Youtube is actually owned by Google and is a great way to show off your companies skills and products.
